We aim to establish multi-disciplinary research lab to understand the membrane proteins that transport ions and lipids across the cell membranes in health and disease. 

Ultimately, we hope to provide new therapeutic strategies to target these transport proteins for the treatment of developmental disorders, cancer metastasis, 

viral infections and bleeding disorders.

1. The gating mechanism of TMEM16-CaCC and TMEM16-CaPLSase.

2. The function of TMEM16-CaPLSase and related proteins in the reproductive, cardiovascular, and neural systems.

3. The regulation mechanism of TMEM16-CaPLSase in physiology and pathology.
